Some chassis restoration work we did several months ago on the local Ford dealers 63 1/2 427 Galaxie.
Of course I had to "test launch" it before tear down.
You Colorado boys probably already know that Fred Brown in Loveland is a good source of parts and info for the big Fords.
PM me for his phone number if it's not listed. He doesn't use a computer.

Yeah, I have known Fred for a long time, but he wants lots of money for his stuff. To much in my opinion, but he has stuff!

Wouldn't it be fun to have this combo and spend the summer driving around the country attending vintage drag races like the Hunnert Car Heads Up, Meltdown Drags, HAMB Drags, FE Reunion, etc???

Roy, it's -4 out here with some cold wind. I have the new big wood stove loaded to the hilt, and warming up the shop, and I will be working on the bottom side of the SOHC Galaxie, today.
Godsey is the truck driver, and by last count, he has more cars then I do, and 2 of his are done... Me, I only have Bobbys car complete, but changing a few sins on the car, I didn't like.
So, I think Godsey, and some unknown RICH guy, shoud buy a big transport, and then we might have a plan, or there is a lawn chair, next to the wood stove, a few feet from the Keg-O-Rater, then Ken emptied the last time he was here, so come on out, Roy,

  21. OK, I have to ask just what kind of engine that is in there. I thought the spark plugs were towards the intake side of the valve covers on the 427 cammer???
