Thanks, Rick, these are great pictures, have not seen them before.

I have very few claims to fame, but one of them was beating Maz's candy 'vette (Bones Balough driving then). Ok, he was on gas, I was on 100% nitro, ok, he had a full bodied car, I had a dragster, but, still, I beat him (and he was damn gratious in defeat, probably more so than I was when he beat me two weeks later!!)

Not all that long. John had a tour booked, and no driver available, so he asked Hugh to drive for the bookings. He also had Doug Cook drive for a short time.

Thanks, Rick, another great set! Wonder what happened to the "football" Austin? Think at one point Tom Wilford had it, was for sale but never heard if someone did buy it (Kind of neat that Gil Ayala, the famous customizer, chopped the top for Mazmanian, they had been friends for decades)
