Back in the early '80's I used to drink coffee with Candy Barr at the Industrial Cafe here in Brownwood. She was a very Gracious woman, good sense of humor, and still attractive.

 

I gotta say I like Fred's avatar too. Not hard on the eyes at all.

What year is this Life mag? Corner is hidden in the pic. I would sure like to find this issue.

 

My favorite one on the HAMB was the old locomotive at speed with a hot rod flying down the road next to it.I think it was a 33 ford coupe if I remember correct.

 

April 1957. There's one for sale on e-bay for 6.99.
