Fun to see it on the road again. And what a great, throaty growl! I'm thinking another trip down here so the Special can get her coat of salt. You know you want to.

Feels good to have her back in the road still have to re hitch up the auto pulse fuel pump as we were troubleshooting fuel system with a bypass line and modern pump. Figured out the problem with not staying running was because the float was height was out of adjustment. Still have a break issue to solveAs it has almost no brakes. Also need to hitch up the hand throttle and pull the front end apart one last time to dip the front axle so we can run the hand crank to start it. Mostly a bunch of loose ends to tie up. I am going to have Clayton upload a couple if vids from youtube.

  9. Hmmm... Is it just me, or is that "Becker Special" radiator script reminiscent of a Pope-Toledo? Very nice!

It's not just you......that was the intent. I was greatly inspired by the look of the Pope-Hartford and Pope-Toledo radiator scripts. I wanted to capture that.

And for you Star Trek fans....the font used for the Name "Becker" is that of the Original Series :D

and the Brass stone guards installed along the hood shelves.

...and took it for a run early that morning..
