I have been working on my tudor sedan for almost 2 years now and the other week I got it on the road!!! sure is great! '30 tudor, '59 292 Y block, '57 Ford-o-matic, '48 rear axle '48 or so front axle (spring in front), '57 chevy steering box, '41 chevy steering wheel, '39 ford dash, 750-16 rear and 600-16 front.
Sorry, just not too much on the picture taking thing... we put about 100 miles on it so far, some small bugs to work out. the main thing is I need to get the roof insert done, even with the '38 Cadillac heater running wide open, it can't compete with the open roof!
My father-in-law is a humble guy, but hey that doesn't mean I cant show off some more pictures for him. You asked for more so here they are! I have a bunch so if anyone wants to see more just let me know. Enjoy!
It is great to drive it some...and I do have windows!! Oh, and the top is complete. I saw a A up at the showdown last spring and it looked like he had problems with his "soft top" comming loose at the front edge. I think he just had snaps. well it looked like it would not stay attached at speed becouse he had installed velcro and other stuff to keep it down. After seeing that, I knew I would have to come up with something better. I installed a strip of alumnium 1" wide and 1/8" thick in the front edge of the vinl and used the post type fasteners used on Model A roadsters side curtins. I used 4 of them accross the front and just snaps down the sides and rear....works fine.
