Me too, a little Jules Vern-ish. But the tool rack on the door just might be a little over the top... certainly a missile hazard... if not an outright thigh slasher. Perhaps a pouch / cover? Gary

More of Anthony's Hendee / Wing. They figure they have close to 200 hours in scrapping and sanding the body to get to the base coat black.here's a shot showing the Corbin speedo. Also notice the brake band and drive cog.

I thought a British cyclecar had no more that 3 wheels by regulation.

I like this image of the Morgan chassis. It shows a lot of detail CLEARLY.For instance the friction shocks. Then compare it with the GN Frazer-Nash chassis.

For me ,I think the attraction is in the colour scheme. It is so clean and well presented. It makes you want to possess it.

A little more on this Morgan chassis... it is the record breaking Morgan of Harold Breats. The chassis tubes and lugs are heavier than factory. The steering box is from a Model T.the rest of the suspension is nonstandard.

Me too! Great design without complex curves. It would make a great trike also.

Slight correction if I may to this extra info and some more from one of the best sources about 3 wheel Morgans, Alderson and Rushton's excellent book Morgan Sweeps the Board (second hand and new copies still available on Bookfinder etc. Although not cheap, its a well researched and well illustrated book that's hard to beat on the three wheeled Morgan).

Harold Breats was better known as Harold Beart and the chassis as Banjeaux Bob relates was completely non-standard, with heavier lugs cast specially for the car to accommodate heavier frame tubes etc, and the full description is given on pages 83 and 84 of this book, too much to quote here. Beart was a long time successful private entrant of Morgans both in trials and racing. This Morgan special had an unusual streamlined alloy body with the engine under a cowling with bulges to clear the barrels.

Although successful in this form at Brooklands, I think this may well be the car that was later given a rear axle and converted to four wheels and subsequently known as Salome. Perhaps others can confirm this. Salome still competes in sprints and hillclimbs, so there is life in the old girl yet..
