Nice, I would love to have an old dodge like that or those I guess would be more like it.

Have you taken that truck to Great Falls before?

I snapped this photo in 2010 when I was in Great Falls to pick up my paperwork for my 59 Suburban Limo that I had sitting in Havre.

This is my future Dove Tail ramp truck that I plan to use to haul around my Studebakers and the Dutch Treat Racing Lark to Bonneville.

It is a 1948 M16 1 1/2 ton Studebaker truck with a 15 foot all steel flat bed and Timken two speed rear axle. Plan to use a Cummins diesel for power. Or if things work out I just might put a supercharged Studebaker V8 in it. Too early to tell about that right now as I am busy working on getting my first car built.

Never taken it to Great Falls. It came from Idaho several years ago.

  21. yeah it's looking pretty cool for an old I-H I haven't seen any modified like this before? I found a 38 dodge Box for it, we pull it off the modified trailer fram and set it on i think it will be the right one for the look we want. I'll guide the hoodlums and have them cut it down to fit and hope it will be a good match! But for now the project is on Ice.

  22. Ok here is a pic with the box sized up a little better cut the floor out curved the bulk head to fit the back of the cab, moved the rear fenders forward 3 inches etc. i'd say the 38 Dodge box is looking right at home on our custom I-H build, the boys are having fun with it anyway! Learning about redesign, cutting, fitting, welding & grinding and so on is something that should still be available to the younger set.

  23. ^^^ roll some beads in the rear part of your front fenders to match the Dodge rear fenders...?
