    I'm diggin' the details on that deuce Bob.. nice mix & collage.

    I went to Valley Rodder's 'Cruise On' last Saturday night, as one does down here. The street was packed- so much so, I sat in the shadows of the Church, where I got a rare clear view at this cherry '59.

    Hello all from the new guy! The name's Sven, aka Senone, and I own and operate 4th gear kustom studio near Antwerp, Belgium, for the last 6 years (been at it for 8 by now). My schooling goes back to the good years of the sketchkult forum. Over the years I've seen a lot of very nice art on here, but since I just recently acquired my first American iron I didn't register before.

    As an introduction I'm putting up my own brain bucket which I just recently revamped....

  4. Good start every one - Bob, Spog etc. etc. Love it every week.

    On the 26th of January here in Australia, we Aussies celebrate Australia Day. Every year on this day, I host a big BBQ for family & friends. It sort of ends up like an Australia day hotrod show...

    But that's cool.

    I bought this old 1960's tiki bar recently and this week, I thought I would customise it with a bit of a ' Hot Rod Tiki flavour' so my guests and I can hang around it all day and have somewhere to have a few beers and talk shit and stuff...mostly stuff.
    Sss oh, I built a roof, made some pillars out of bamboo and stuff, and painted a few signs for it. I dig it, hope you do too. -H.R.D-

    Thanks Dude- If work's slow on Sunday I'll imbibe @ Tiki Central.. Looks like it's Doris' shout (bark)?:D

    Sideplatesix has a right-on old- style Holden hottie with triple carb hot six & classic detail touches (you can't see the killer Lakewood- style traction bars here). Very HAMB-y street machine. I was able to paint it last Sunday at the All- Holden Show at Wigley Reserve, Glenelg;

  9. Did this today as well. gloss enamel on a set of Essex radiator louvers. My mate wants an aged look so when it tacks off enough, I'll hit it with turps and stress it out. -H.R.D-

    Thanks Beebing. It's a Panhard Dyna Z, made by Panhard & Levassor (french manufacturer) from 54 to 59.
    The first ones had an all aluminium body.
    Panhard's nickname was Panpan, because of the "music" of its two-cylinder boxer engine.

  28. gbritnell: Your detailed drawings must be a labor of love. Difficult to tell them apart from a photograph. Can't imagine the man-hours that go into one of these.......Exquisite!

    Thanks, but most artists would be insulted if someone said "I could do that". Just something to keep in mind.
