Nice save on that leaded panel! Yeah, just because a repair was done in lead, doesn't mean it was done right, lots of hacks even "back in the day"!
That's the fresh air intake for the heater vent. It has a hinged door, that opens from inside the car.
I've never had an animal so crazy about the shop. My dogs like to be out there with me, but the cat literally runs to the door when I go out there. Hangs out for hours. Climbs in and over everything!
Been working on the headlight area. This is the most complected piece I've ever made. I'm sure there are easier & more efficient ways to do this, but I'm happy just to pull this off! I had a day off work, and really wanted to finish this, but didn't quite make it. I've got just a little more hammer and file work and it will be ready to install. Last major piece!
Get that shit done so you can get back on the Stude. We ain't gettin' any younger, lol. All joking aside- You rule. Period.
Wow, that's a lot of work right there in one piece, amazing. Nice job in bringing a car back from the dead, plenty of people wouldn't have touched that one.
Wow, how time goes by........I got side tracked with home restoration, and progress slowed to a crawl. But my 1903 two story is looking good! At this point I am finished with the body. I have a few small things to do to the sheet metal, seam sealer, and back on the chassis. And yes, this really is my last one, for anyone but me. No more will I whore! I'll throw up some random pics. of the repairs. The first pic is MY next project!
You did a great job, and I hope your customer really appreciates it. After it is put together and painted no one ever realizes the work that was involved in this type of thing. Jack. Oh and I hope you really do get to work on your own stuff.
