Technical Wheel adapter help

    I want to run a 8" Ford rear but keep wide five wheels front and rear.. Anyone make a wheel adpt., 4.50 to Wide 5 ?

    I believe Speedway Motors sells them.
     
  3. Try speedway. It might be easier to go from 5 1/2 (Ford Bronco maybe) to wide five if you don't have the rear end already. Try a post on fordbarn as I recall people looking for this type of adapter.

    What about re-drilling the pattern? Theres a guy on here that sells a jig to do it yourself. I bought one and works slick!

    The Speedway ones are steel, and VERY heavy.

    Yeah, except that Wide-5 pattern is 5-on-10-1/4"

    And I will have aluminum adapter covers that look like original wide 5 hubs done in the next couple of months :D Jim Ford (55willys)
