Technical Split wish bones

    What length is a good length for split bones on a 32 ch***is? I didn't find anything on search.

    Got one within arms reach of the keybord, 49 inches overall tip to the end of a Model A tie rod end. Bob

    Keep em as long as you can ... Making them any shorter than a stock A bone just kinda looks wierd

    Look up the engineering term 'moment'
    Short bars will lift the rear of the car, long ones will squat
    For ideal, make them the same length as original

    I like to have them line up with the front door line if possible. I think the ones I made were about 43" from center to center. Here is a photo of the ones I copied using 40 bones.

    I like using a 33/34 wishbone cut at the rear weld and use CTaulberts bungs and early tierod ends. Back ends up directly below the front door seam.
