So I was messing around photoshopping some color ideas for the car. This is a car I saw in a video on YouTube of this car club overseas I think. I absolute love it. I have a similar approach in mind but with some different details though.

Good choices... 3, 4 & 5 would be my favorites... just my 2 cents.

As of right now Im torn between 2, 4, and 7. Whichever route I take Im gonna let Travis Hess (tuki) work his magic on it to add some nice touches. Gotta love wasting time putting the cart before the horse lol.

Hahaha sure thing! I need to drive it out to the salt flats at least once though.

Thanks a lot glad I could help! Thanks for the compliments.

  8. #7 no wait, #2 maybe #7 yeah yeah #7 for sure. You can't go wrong with any of them I don't think but I like #7 best. On the other hand maybe put them in a hat and draw one. I am no help at all.

Some updates. Started fitting the flat stock to match the original rear lower panel as well as make cap extensions from the original subrails to keep it looking original. More trimming needed still but it's a start. Also got the old wheel wells out so onto the patch panels.

Hahaha I don't think we could have put any more covers on my dads car. Two comforters, a car cover, a few bed sheets, random towels, and more comforters.

Did a little sheet metal work tonight to redo the C notch in the wheel well panels. Had to raise the center line about 2" up to keep the gap above the C notch. I don't like cutting it straight off. Remade the lip under the notch as well. I'm no body man so they'll need a little hammer and dolly work or a skim coat of mud. I'll try my body hammers first.

Thanks! Its the first one I've done so I'm sure the passenger side will come out better. Everything on this car has been a LITTLE bit nicer on the second try haha

Project was on the back burner for a while due to a lot of overtime at work and freelance work building up. Floor pans this week. Just boring stuff right now. An hour here and there is better than nothing. Tacked the wheel well panels in just to get them started. Need a lot more welding though. All the body mounts are done.

A few more updates later tonight. Just chippin away at it. When I get back from vacation we're gonna set up a date to start the chop and bring it to another garage.

Finally cut out some floor pans. Gotta make the pumpkin hump and put some beads in. ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1400004622.231841.jpg
