Well a friend of mine called me and asked if I would be interested in a "30" sedan that a friend of his found stored away in a garage. The guy who owned it stopped his resto in "96" and put it in the corner and covered it. After seeing the car I bought it, as you can see why. Probably going to whack the top and put in a blown 270 Dodge Hemi I just had done, that was supposed to go in my 32 roadster.
Ok guys, Lets play nice. They pulled one of mine, said it got to aggressive or something like that? Appreciate all input!
Where the hell is LoudPedal?! Start cutting! Sounds like you've got a great plan and can't wait to see it after the transformation.
Channel it 4"-6" and leave the roof stock height. You can always give it a chop job later. Nice thing about doing a channel is you get the body down around the wheels without sacrificing the ride. No giant drop axles or crazy flat springs required.
I'll get back to any one interested in parts I don't use after I figure out what direction I'm going.
There is an old hot rod saying that really speaks the truth. "start your project with the nicest example you can afford. It will pay dividends later in less time and $$$$'s spent to finish it." After dozens of projects in my almost 70 years I've proven the wisdom of that approach many times. Frank
