Event Coverage Turlock, CA Swap Meet-Sat -1/25/14 PICS!!!

Spent hundreds on Friday afternoon buying up stuff as it was unloaded. Went back in Saturday at 5am and start buying more. My only regret was that I passed on a 32 wishbone (only one there) went back to get it and it was gone.....

 

That '56 Plymouth was a great deal! Can't say the same for some of those other cars though. Thanks for posting the for sale details, always interesting to see what people want for their stuff.

 

The weather was great, big turnout on Saturday, I sold quite a bit of junk...only problem is I bought just as much. Here's some of the pile I brought home...

Sunday was ghost town! People were packing up way too early, I was still shopping!

I bought a factory dual quad intake for a big block Mopar, original 1932 Ford grill shell emblems, original Model 40 V8 emblems, NOS 30's Ford shackle bushings, a bucket of 50's Rochester 4 jets and the interior garnishes for a '55-'57 two door wagon. I only needed one door garnish but I had to buy the set.

When's the next swapmeet? Someone said Sacramento this weekend?

One thing my brother's pointed out, was that we did not see a single original 32 shell or insert there for sale. Usually there are atleast some high priced ones to look at.

WOW! Thanks for taking the time to post up the photos.....use to be like here in the midwest.....Now it's lot's of junk with very little good stuff. Most of it I have no idea why a guy would even take the time to haul it in. But they must like doing it as I see the same shit at the next swapmeet.
Would love to go to this one sometime.

 

don't forget to hit the Swap Tomorrow - Feb 2 -at Cosumnes River College in South Sacramento - West of HWY 99 at Calvine RD exit. be there early, since some people bail early because of Super Bowl

 

Found a few things but didn't want to pack em around so I passed. Not many 40 pts but should have bought the 65 Rochester FI unit--Oh well. Will go to the one in South Sac in the a.m. Not too big but usually a lot of good items.
