??? What's to correct ? I said that it was a 1956 - - The side trim shows it very obviously, but the grille is totally different from a 55 also.

I don't know, Don. These were considered roadsters

  6. Just to clear things up...in the USA a "removable windshield" is not part of a roadster description. They usually folded forward in a flat manner, but not removed.

1949 Dodge wayfarer roadster windshield did not fold down and was designated a roadster by the manufacturer. It had side curtains instead of roll up windows.

    I dig that 57 Ford.

  10. Yes, there were exceptions in that area, but not the "removable" part. That is why I said, "usually".

Sorry if we might be a bit 'hokey' down this way Daddy Don regarding strict roadster definitions , WTF would you call them then ?,,hell we even call Phaetons 'Tourers',,,a hood is a Bonnet and a trunk is a boot, a fender is a mudguard ,,,,but i do know a 32 roadster when i see one,,,,and by the way a 37 roadster dosent have a removable windscreen or a folding one,,

Got that right - - Especially the dictionary part. But, some have their minds made up and don't want anyone confusing them with facts.

Thanks Roddy, now that you've mentioned his name, the older ganglions are starting to join up. Why did I think it was Doc's...?
Hmmm, I guess I'll have another bottle of red wine and think about it - I'm sure that'll help.
Sorry Doc if I offended you.
    Cheers.
