The good lord willing and the snows not to deep.

 

Cold weather raises the attendance. Too cold to work, so go trudge around in the cold looking for greasy car parts. Big fun. I'll be there as usual.

 

I'll be at my swap meet booth in the north building, as always. Stop by and visit for awhile. There'll be a couple of extra chairs to rest your tired legs, and sloppy joes to feast on.

A Mid Winter indoor swap. Sounds like a great time.
Being that I live in Socal, I'd love to see some photos if you guys are able to share some here.

 

gonna miss this year, since my brother went down from a brain anuerism and not able to make it, it aint no fun. looks like the weather is crap anyways, hope you all have fun and be safe gettin there and back.

Treasures are already loaded and will set up in Pavilion II on Thursday afternoon. Will be ready for the "mall walkers" to arrive early Friday morning. I hear all the snow will be melted by then. (LOL). Hope everyone has fun and find what they need to complete their project. Be safe.

 

So how do I recognize your booth? (save me and the wife two sloppy Joe's)

 

Plan to be there Friday. Not looking for much, so I'll probably over-buy.

 

I might make it Saturday.

 

I'll be there early Friday morning with 2-3 other Texans on board if I don't get stranded in blizzard-like conditions between Dallas and Wichita.

Honestly, going to the swap meet is just an excuse for me to eat ribs at "Pig In Pig Out" in Wichita.

 

Never miss it. This year I'll have my own booth to unload all my extra crap, uh, I mean, all my rare, high quality parts at rock bottom working man prices.

Do they ever cancel this meet?

I've never seen it cancelled. Been going for over 20 years.

My club decided to cancel.
Too much snow, too many morons driving on the snow, etc.
So..... better luck next year.

 

Took all my good stuff to the swap meet yesterday. No snow or ice on highway and the parking lot had been cleared at the swap meet. No need to stay away because of the snow.

 

Yup. Roads were fine.
