Those wheels are from mid '50's Le Mans D Type Jaguars. If you look close at the left seat it is occupied by a child in a car seat. Lucky kid! ***umption is it's a picture taken in the UK. Answer to Piper106 question.
Wife and I are building this one, a 3 window coupe with a ZZ-383 stroker crate motor They say it's 425 hp.

Hope you guys don't mind a full fender banger that is only mocked up. But here is mine from a month ago and now it's all apart for the final build and paint.
Yes, really nice...the more I look at the photos, the more the subtle touchs show up, very well done!
I sure like your car Pete, has some nice 37 touches too. Any pics of the dash and power plant for us?

Hey, Dreddybear, I have seen that rod at A.S.S. on about half my visits, back even before Jesse James built his '32, and I've seen him cruising Austin probably with you.
Deuce Granddaddy Don, I was reading articles about **** Scritchfield when I was a very young kid...................OK, a teen ager. I was sorry he moved to Hawaii because that meant I would never get to meet him. My loss.
roadstar, your top looks really nice. I nearly **** in my messkit when I paid $3,500 for my Bop Top and curtains. I like the 3-window appearance, but those curtains just DO NOT make it a coupe. Good job on yours !
Reffering to the displaced Minnesotan, if you can build a car in the equivalent of Siberia, just think what you will be able to do with actual seasons.

Vaphead, when that goon arrives in Austin, I will shake his hand, then hand a beer to him. My '32 highboy is one of the humpteen red ones with steelies that will be there.
Philly the Greek, did that top start life as the rear half of a '34 Ford ? No one in San Antonio will take on such a project that I know of. Really fine looking ride.
Very late to the party but I got my 32 mocked-up late last summer and yes there will be more tweaking done. But I think I'm getting closer! Damn I miss summer.
