I will have the TWIN on Display tonight at Hot Rod Coalitions Rod's on the Bluffs Palm and Nees Fresno Ca. then off to Kingdon Drags tomorrow for at least one pass. Stop by and say hi!

Thanks Skip! Lee put on One Hell of a Show making 2 runs. Run one he had it sideways at 300' and on his last run he made a run just short of the 1/4 mile mark (gearing a little low) and ran 135 MPH. A real good time and KUDOS to team Kingdon! Haven't received any photos yet but Ol Skool Rods Photographer was there and has an AWESOME Shot. I have to wait for the mag

Looking forward to finally meeting you in person this July.

I have a FED build in the works myself, but just a boring single engine slingshot, LOL. We'll have to get them alongside each other!

News of you making the haul is making us all look forward to July even more!

 

Thanks for all the support my friends! My short to do list goes like this.............
* Build Light trailer dedicated to the TWIN
* FINALLY finish up the "T" body, my goals are high but I realize that few were perfect in 1960
*May remove the Trans/IN & Out box and replace with a Direct Shaft thanks to my Friend Marty
* Replace the RH engine with one that holds water
* Fab water manifold to my intakes......1/4 mile needs some coolant
* Might install our magnetos.....not necessary
* modify oil pans and PU tubes so the floors are level and oil is always available
* put a hitch on my sons jeep

And that should have me ready for our 35 hr trip!

 

I am so impressed you are even considering making this effort. Looking forward to seeing the rolling smoke show in person.

I'm gonna start on the body again and wanted to know if I apply matting to the cardboard or just stack the cardboard with resin between layer? Too much time since we last talked

Thank You Tim for your help! This weekend was productive.......I finished some necessary glass work, added support around the drivers opening, roughed in the open corners and Cut the wheel wells out......I'm very happy with the attitude the body gives the Twin.......and have new energy to forge on! Meltdown Drags or BUST!
