Do you think I could get 4 or even 6 holley 94's on a custom plate for this intake? http://www.lxforums.com/board/showthread.php/217206-New-Hemi-Intake-Manifolds-and-valve-covers
You can't tell from just eye balling it. The 94s take up more room front to back than 97s, many early intakes will take multiple 97s but not 94s. 3 94s or 97s is probably too little carb for a 354. Plus that intake is for the current Hemis.
This is for a new gen hemi, I have it machined to 354ci Thats why the threde is called "354 restomod" I will get some plate dimensions and maybe you guys can give me a rough idea of how many I can fit on there.
Sorry if I missed it, but, why are you needing/wanting to use a GenIII engine if the goal is to also use multiple 2bbls? There is an ample supply of EarlyHemi engines for which intakes are available. .
I already have the new gen hemi and allot of the parts for it. The plan is to build a Jeep rod so I'd like it to look the part
73RR is right, you could build a 1st gen Hemi for the same price and have the look you are after with less trouble tunning the carbs with an intake allready set up for 2bbls vs for what I see a whole lot of trial and error building a sheet metal intake and tunning it to the engine and carbs. Dont get me wrong a III gen Hemi set up like you are describing would be different and sweet looking for sure! To me the real question i think is how much power do you want to make and what kind of road maners/ drivability are you after.
I want to drive it! From some research I did there is someone who built the same combo minus my bore size who put out close to 450 at the tire with a hillborn intake and a mild cam. I almost have a complete engine already, so starting over is out of the question. Sent from my XT1080 using H.A.M.B. mobile app
