Saw this at the LA Roadster show two years ago. This is now one of my top 10 all time favorite cars. LOVE it....

 

I know this pic has had a lot of circulation, but I LOVE this car!

[ATTACH=full [I brought this tub in 1988 from a used car dealer in Springfield, MO. It was built in Penn. using a '31 Gibbons body, SBC/350. I sold the car a few years later at GG's in Pleasanton, CA. The buyer had most of the frame components chromed and later offered the tub for sale in the Gazette, I've never seen it since. The MO. title clearly showed as a 1930, the seller used a blue ballpoint pen to mark the title as the rarer '31 model. Was a Fun Car... The photos were taken in Moses Lake, Davenport, Spokane, Long Beach, & Walla Walla WA. Reno...Dyno Dave

I love that tub and used to see it everywhere around So California, and beyond. My friend Alan sends me pics of runs he attends and that tub was all over Colorado, Nevada, and at every west L.A./South Bay cruise. Congrats to your friend on picking up a great car.

 

Agreed. I've seen this '33 many times and every time I see it, it makes me smile. Funky, low and bitchin'.
