"...or turn it into a 'one-of-a-kind' street rod!"

A slow, gruesome death would be too good for the buyer who chose this route.

That is killer! I would think a car like that would have about ten times more pics posted though.

Thanks for posting the link, always nice to read about a race car what has been parked in "As Raced" condition for all these years. Bob

He has lowered the asking price. It was on ebay the last time for 205,000.

  18. Neat piece, no doubt.

If I had a million bucks burning a hole in my pocket, I still wouldn't buy it because that'd be 19.5 % of my cash. If I had 100 million that'd be less than 2% of my money and considered disposable $. But if I had 100 million I'd be much busier with things other than non running old race cars with no history.

I didn't think barn finds had that kind of price tag. I have an original 35 Willys sedan sitting in my barn, just thinking:rolleyes: JW

It really doesn't matter...........what if he got if for free.... should he just give it to someone? If he paid too much, is it worth more?

I was thinking the same thing, trying to get nearly 200 grand and can't even afford a decent camera to make decent pics? Asking that much, I'd get a pro to make pics of everything. Makes you wonder if it has really been sitting all those years, or if it even has all those goodies on it.....

Maybe I am crazy but If I had the money, I would buy it......Money ****s!! And gives me No pleasure at all....Now this willys on the other hand is Bad ***, history or not!!. And it would make me very happy if I had it.......A bunch of you may die with your school milk money still in the bank, So that when your lazy kids get it they can buy them some more E games when you kick the bucket, But not me!! My kids are going to have to do it the hard way, and that is (Sell all "Dads Bad *** hot rod stuff" If they want inheritance Money) As I plan to die broke as hell with as many cool cars and hot rod parts as I can find room for.

Also I don't know this guy, but he has been selling high end stuff on ebay for a few years now, I think he knows what he has and has it priced for what he really believes it should bring. It wouldn't surprise me if it sells. keep in mind that there are car guys out there who have done very well for themselfs and need to spend 200K or so for a tax right off. Just saying

He has been buying and selling vintage wheels for years along with cars and trucks. He has a wrecking yard in CA. A fair price for his items? A fair price is what the seller and buyer agree on.

Hey keep watching it! The first buy it now was $205,000 so it's getting cheaper each time it's relisted! :)
