I know this isn't a HAMB car but I was wondering if anyone had any input that could help me out. I have one of my project cars up for sale and I have an offer to trade for this. I have seen this car before at shows and cruises around town and its a nice car, but its a 4 door. I have my car listed for $8500, so do you think it was worth it or should I hold off? its a 65 bel air, 4 door, powered by a 283 and a powerglide.
That's about my estimate, too. And I'd bet, even at $5K, you'd have to sit on it a while to find a buyer. I'd walk.
Barrett Jackson $8500 dreams. 3K max if he puts chrome reverse with baby moons on it. And vacuumed it out.
Nice driver, may want to respray that driver door jamb, peeling paint would lead one to suspect the paint may peel in other areas too. Personally I doubt more than 4k and thats finding the right person that is wanting a 4 door that has already been customized to someone elses tastes.
I agree as well. the paint job sure does not help sell the car. now IF the car was ten years older, you might have something, but I dont see that year bringing $8,500
Could a '65 Bel Air sedan be worth that scratch, yes. Is that one, no. I could've bought a nicer '64 for a fraction of that last year, but a multitude of issues didn't allow that. Not sure what you're selling, but is the Bel Air something you would keep or want to sell anytime soon?
Ok... I just bought a 4 door 67 for $2,200 and sold it within 30 minutes of owning it for $3,500... And it looks like dog*****... I think theres somethin to these cars startin to become popular... Guy I sold it to kept ranting about some tv show...
