37 Dodge truck steering

    I want to use my stock steering wheel, but it is connected to the factory box. Do I just cut the shaft above the box? If I do cut it, is there a better or worse spot to cut it?

    I'd cut it about an inch or two above the box, that way the box could still be used in another project.

    Can't you just get the steering wheel off the shaft?
     
  5. Exactly....you may need to use a puller though.
