Technical 28/29 and 30/31 Ford Axles The Same?

  1. Are the Ibeam axles exactly the same on the two different types of Model A Ford or was there some type change made to them in 1930?
    Thanks for any replies.

    Same... some of the early 1928 had "Ford" in script letters cast on them

    Are you ^^^ saying this is an early 28 axle???

    That axle would be a 28 to mid 29 axle. The beginning of production to early 28 had the Large 1" tall ford script. The 28 to mid 29 axles like yours had a smaller Ford script. The mid 29 to end of production axles had no Ford script.
