Technical any hop up parts for pre 39 flatheads?

does anyone now or in the past make finned heads for pre 39 flattys ? the ones with waterpumps on the heads. also do their intakes inter change with the later cars?

 

Intakes fit the same up to '48, and Montery Speed & Sport sell all sorts of reproductions of rare early pieces. Very nice stuff but also very expensive.

Cyclone made 21 stud finned aluminum heads for 32-36 Ford V8s. Not easy to find even years ago.

 

Ooooh, I'm bookmarking that. Their prices aren't all that bad really considering they're highly unlikely to be doing production numbers even close to the repop Edelbrock & Offy stuff. Half again to twice the price of something common for something so specific is a bargain IMO.

 

Evans also made finned heads for '32-6 types with domed pistons. Not common, which I'm sure isn't a surprise!
