Seems strange today, I have old gundog books and most of them have how to train your dog to get in the trunk. Seems weird since my lab is my copilot:D

Do you think they backed them in just for the shot? 55 Saxon cars lined up in Sioux City Iowa to challenge everyone to a hill climb or race. I think you would play hell even finding 55 Saxons today. The nighttime shot from the capitol looking towards downtown Des Moines prior to all the big buildings is a nice shot

I've got a photo of this 203MPH Sunbeam parked in front of Hunt's Home Lunch in Danbury, Ct. I'd love to know the reason it was there just off Main Street in 1927. Bob [IMG]

Thanks for posting this one!!! I've had a slide of a building I've never been never been able to identify until now - it's definitely the Hermosa Biltmore:

Looks like the south side of the building (your photo shows the east side). Taken circa 1968 after demolition had begun; from the Otto Sauseng estate.

My grandpa always had his beagles ride in the trunk when they went out to go rabbit hunting... was common back then.
