I just wanted to say thanks again to all the Slick Devils. What a great show, I could only imagine all the time and hard work that went into this.

I'm definitely in for next year! But I'll see you guys at 42 first. Littleman told me I got a racing jacket, so I don't have any excuses for not running my truck. I better get my beater running right and my slicks mounted.

Like Sarah said you guys are a bad influence on us!

  2. So many good things are happening already because of this show! I can't wait to see that truck on the 1/4 mile! Can Sarah flag start for the street tire class?:D

heh, I watched two young boys walk up to this one. The one said to the other, "that's an original race car!"

Great show, we had a really good time.

  4. Man, you guys really turned this show around. Epic job!

Glad we brought the car in tuesday and missed the 50 car pile up on the Ohio turnpike wednesday.

I drove my T in wednesday morning during the snow storm. Only had to drive it 3 miles from my sons house to the IX center and had about a half inch of snow on the floor when I pulled in . LOL
The wife, kids and even the grandkids had a great time at the show.

I was definatly amused by spectators at the show. People kept taking pictures of my front disc brakes and they kept touching the vinyl seats. One guy even walked by and kicked the tires like he was gonna buy it or something !! I dont know why. LOL
I just know they made me laugh.

Lots of great cars in the Hot Rod Asylum.
I would make the trip from Chicago again !!!

  6. I am glad you had a good time! Did you go home right from the show?
