To me, this is as cool as "barn finds" get. Well, it's technically out of an old garage I guess. Original 46 Chevy panel wagon that was a shop truck for an old Lionel Trains shop in Seattle. Looks like it had a repaint over the original black, but was done with a house paintbrush. Lettering is old original and is really bitchin. What can I say? I had to take it home! Took a little monkeying but it runs now. Original motor/trans. This should be a good wagon to haul old signs around in!

    Here's my plans for it:

    - new tires
    - new gas
    - new oil
    - drive
    - drive
    - drive

Like you, I would drive it just like it is. Wouldn't change a thing, including the brush strokes.. ;)

I could never buy anything like that because then I would have to start collecting vintage Lionel trains to go with it.

My bud Teddy DeMello bought a black '33 Tudor sedan from an elder gent that had brush painted it. (you couldn't tell from 10 feet away...)

We polished and waxed it every day after school for 2 weeks. It improved greatly. A month or so later, guys were examining it and asking who gave it the 'lacquer job'!
    Rub that rascal!
