I heard people park like this in Pittsburg. Is that where this is? Or is that a New York plate?

If you didn't park that way the trolley either couldn't get passed or hit your car.

Those are all naval tailor shops. Think Navy town. Maybe Brooklyn.

WOW, some GOOD old stuff today. Thanks.

  23. Right hand drive or reversed negative? The latter I bet.

Safety first! Dick Kraft at Santa Ana, reportedly the first dragster, though there was one apparently at Goleta, running Howard Johansen's track roadster 4-cylinder.

The roll bar here was an add-on, there was no roll bar on the first version, so C.J Hart made Dick put one on. He showed up with a roll bar made of electrical conduit, which C.J could bend with his hands. Needless to say, C.J. was not amused and sent Dick back to the shop again. Even this one looks more like decoration and something that might have worked in a rollover!

  26. Reversed negative, Grumpy. Look at the script on the valve covers.

    More dejavu. :p [IMG] 12-09-2011, 03:24 AM Page 1750, post 34985.

I suppose that newcomers to this thread. who don't take the time to read all 4531 pages, will enjoy all the reposting that inevitably is now happening.
There are several other pics in recent days that have been posted both in this thread and elsewhere on this board.
I still enjoy the thread however.
( And Joe, this is a general observation, nothing directed at you personally)

    regards,Rod.:D

If you knew the pages those reposts were on, then I'm impressed, if you had to use google imagesearch to locate it, then so what? there are lots of reposts. It will get really tedious if every one gets called out.

    Just go with the flow.
