You guys are all artists. To take something that is beyond repair and bring it back to it's former self or better, is something to be really proud of. Keep it up guys and gals. I'm proud to be a member here on the HAMB. Outstanding work. Lippy

These make me really appreciate Arizona. You guys need to visit the junk yards out here.

I totally agree. The '51 F1 Ford pickup that I bought a few years ago was originally sold in Los Angeles and shipped to Arizona in 1951. It lived its first life in Arizona but was shipped to Hawaii in the late '80s. Bodywork had been done at some point on the fenders as displayed by the brass work but it was still pretty solid.
No doubt next time around, if I'm looking for a good project vehicle to ship over here it'll be west Texas, New Mexico, Arizona or southeastern California. Good solid iron trumps shipping costs every time.

still going. the whole lower 4" of this car was gone. ive rebuilt the the chassis, firewall ,lower A and B pillars, hinges, doors, replaced 1 whole quarter panel, made all new subrails and floors, inner wheelwells, inner and outer tailpan, trunk floors, the list goes on. finally starting to close the daylight in this body and get it on the ground.

Once told...... "If you'd had a picture you'd have more to start with"........ image.jpg But after a few years of shop time...... image.jpg
It hit the road again! Main lesson learned, you never can buy a good enough body! But knowing one more saved from the great junkyard beyond and to hear the words "man you guys sure saved that one".... Priceless! Finished in 1991. Flux
