Technical '56 Thunderbird Lower Ball Joint Removal

    I've pickle-forked myself to exhaustion on these lower ball joints, and haven't budged them a bit.

    I've got the spindle out of the car, top joint out, but these bottoms are driving me to drink. Not that that's a bad thing.....

    Any suggestions? Regards, Dan

    Two large hammers. Use one as a backup and the other to strike the outside of the spindle where the ball joint is connected. causes a slight pinch and does not damage the spindle. Alwas works for me.
