      So what's going on here?

In this picture I began cutting and buffing the clear coat after assy of the truck. I soon realized that most of this is much easier when disassembled. This was my first experience with PPG base coat/clear coat. The young man in the photo is a buddy's son who helped me out and kept me in check not to hurry the polishing.

oh ok, yeah I don't have experience with painting, I primered my truck but I keep going back and forth if I should pay someone to paint it or try to do the work myself….I just don’t know if me trying to teach myself is worth the cost, if it all turns out bad I’m going to have to pay someone anyway to do it all over again, and all I have is a 2 car garage at home, not the greatest paint booth.
