I'm glad you asked. I took some 2" metal conduit I had laying around the house, notched it, bent it, and welded it back together. The angle matches the trim on the front of the hood. Then I cut two little openings to accept the bracket on the parking lights, formed three braces to hold it in place, and applied some chrome vinyl material I had left over from another project. My wife helped apply the vinyl and it went on without any wrinkles at all. The vinyl does not bend so I had to make a junction at the peak of the bar, and that could have turned out better. If I had to do it over I would try to find some 2 1/2" or 3" tubing for the job. I think plastic pipe would work ok. I was unsure about making the angle with plastic pipe but I am pretty sure it could be done. I was very pleased with the look of the single bar. It makes the car look wider and smoother.
