56 Chevy Engine Swap. Just getting ready to pull the 427 big block. The plan was to freshen the 427 and install in my 55 Chevy, take the 327 from my 55 and freshen it up, clean up a few details on the 56 and have some fun with it, then sell it, taking any profit to rebuild the 427. The 427 had some good stuff in it, but the block and been damaged, probably from a clutch explosion, and welded up, plus it was already bored .060. Heads were amateur ported to the max, so I didn't want to use 'em. Cam had wiped out, which was why the previous owner sold the car in the first place. I ended up finding a 454 in parts, and building that instead.
