153 chevrolet manifold repair

I had a problem that new gaskets were not going to fix...so, being the old schooler that I am, I did it "my way". Right or wrong, it seems to have done the trick!

Here's the repair material. It is very thick in this repair, and therefore insulates the intake from heat soak, and vapor lock after driving, and then shutting it off for ten minutes..double win!

Here's the filled in cavity, starting to cure. It needed heat to cure, so I put it on my outdoor wood boiler door for two days, and it cured nicely.

The heat riser in the "heat" position. I moved it to "no heat", and left it in there for support of the repair material.
