Belmont Sanchez's Stude, the first, and one of the most bad assed Studes ever on the salt. It had full length headers like the Speed Sport roadster. The sound of it flying through the 5 mile still makes the hair on my neck stand up! This is the final version of the car.

Speed Sport roadster. I first heard Ole noisey at the '60 March Meet. A sound I still remember.

Markley Bros Tank. 290 with a blown De Soto under 300 cu. in. An amazing feat today. Phenominal in the '60's!

Sadd, Teague & Bentley's flying brick. When this thing clicked off a 268 pass, it rocked the world. Watching this roadster skate through the 5 mile clocks proved to me that Al Teague is one fearless human being!

Jocko's Liner. Hand built and designed by a man that was more artist than hot rodder. As beautiful as a streamliner gets.

Tony Waters' roadster. I watched Tony nearly win T/E at the '59 March Meet in this roadster. He would have if the blower manifold hadn't exploded 300 feet from the finish line.

Hel's Angel. Knott Farringtons '55 T bird was/is one of the most beautiful cars ever to set a wheel on the salt. This T Bird proved a show car can set records.

Arnold Avila's RPU at San Gabe. I loved this RPU when it was in Hot Rod Mag in '63. Still on of the coolest '29's ever built. Love to know where it is today.
