c clip rear ends require a safety device. I've since removed nylon wedges & overload leaf to improve the "squat".Breaks are linclon versailles rotors,chevelle calipers,mounted on 1/2" aluminum bracket,with 3 extra "claws" to keep the wheel on just incase.

Check out the straight axle. Front disks & spindles are ranger with home made king pins & bushings! The chain is for "hold down" removed for racing.[the "list" is from slanted driveway]

check out the plumbing! stock heads? yep,they breathe better then aluminum heads,plus they give a more desirable 8.25 c.r. Distributor is a "289" adapted to '51 shaft[had to reverse distributor rotation, a real trick!]]

Had to move flatmotor 2" to the right to clear stearing box. Motor mounts are 1/2" aluminum plates with "409" water pump driven by electric motor. Even got a micro switch on the go pedal to free-wheel the alternator at full throttle.
