      Very, very nice!!!!!

Great looking engine. How do you like those Clifford headers?
    • Skidmore
Well the headers were anything but bolt-on, I had to take the rear one apart and do some bends to make them work then weld them back together. They said they sell hundreds with no problems but I find that hard to believe since my car was stock and I tried two different sets.

      Beautiful. Really nice.

This picture alone is almost what's convincing me to keep my 223 rather than swap in a 302. :)

      Thanks dude, I appreciate that!

That is beautiful but I agree with you about Clifford. Larry from Clifford will talk a good game and give you all kinds of fantastic stats or tell you that he's sold tons of the headers for the 6 cylinders but when it all boils down to it, he's pretty much the only 6 cyl game in town and I don't think he has the "knowledge" he pretends to have.

Nice! I don't get to see many of these in a Ford other than my own. The headers look nice but mine was a bolt on Original AM Fenton 1958-1961. Really nice motor! Did you have as many issues as I getting the pipes down around the control arms tight fit with my header.
    • Stew2
Did you do anything inside to match the out?
    • Skidmore
The headers were anything but bolt on. We had to cut them up to make them go around the control arm.
