      Might watch out for the camshaft clearance also.Also the pan rail. Just a few things Ive ran into with those badass (chevy)383.

      Yes, crank was bumpin my oil pan when I started up the 46 engine. I took it off and clearanced it with a few hammer bumps and it's been fine ever since.

      Here I go making a SBC and now I'm Mr. No Trad. Fine. Now maybe I can see how Josh feels even as he spanks every TRAD MF-R out there.

      Flat heads are made to run AC units while a real engine moves the car ....

      Nothing hit the pan rail. I was surprised. I better check the pan and cam still. Its ok to grind off cam lobes right?
