Thanks for the posts, I had this truck since 1989 and its been through many changes /configurations through the years. Now its on the stock frame with split wishbone/TCI suspension, 4" bell drop axle and a 9" ford rear with disc brakes on all four corners. I have pictures from the build (many) that show the work that went into it at my garage. My build pictures are not in the digital format and need to be scanned to a file so I can post in the album
Yes It Is... A good friend who does upholstery work, he wrapped them and the running boards in vinyl top material (tuff stuff). He also padded the boards with dense foam so you don't see the ridges...Joe
that's a nice touch, not over the top but sort of functional on a "gentlemens pickup". Dont scuff the toes of your dress shoes if you step up there to reach in the bed for the picnic basket or the golf clubs. Has old world charm outside, modern a#*-whoopin on the inside.
