The Robert Hodge/Pete Petterson T. This car is perhaps the most technologically advanced and important "Gowjob" of the period...that you have never heard of. Robert Hodge worked as a machinist apprentice in Orange, CA and in his spare time he designed, cast, machined and built up his own SOHC head for his '23 T Touring. The engine has a Stutz twin-ignition system, Wills St. Claire crank, twin Winfield SR carbs, Stutz oil pump and a home made pressurized injection system to inject a lead based performance additive directly into the cylinders for a boost of 10 HP. That...and variable cam timing in the 1930's!
