I will not be keeping the flathead in the car but I will keep the engine and rebuild it just because I've never had one apart. I will be taking a fair amount of the stock parts off of this in favor of updated hardware but I'll keep all my originals. If I could afford it I would restore this one to stock and build another rod, but as it is I'll barely be able to pay to build this one.
