My good friend since the 60's, the late Ron Benham with one of his many Bonneville cars, The "Baby Whale".

Ronnie was like a grandfather to me. I lived up the street from him & Norman during the late 80's- early 90's. I used to go over and help out on the race cars, sweep the floor, and mow the lawn at Ronnie's back when I was a kid in that time. I remember seeing this picture hanging on the wall in his garage. I still miss him!

I still miss Ronnie too. Our shop was in the same area. I really enjoyed his Monday morning El Mirage reports. A true LSR legend that has not gotten the recognition he deserves.
