How did you do this? Do you engine turn the leaf?

I do it by hand using a piece of velour with some cotton balls to make a small pad that I give each a quick quarter turn with medium pressure .

Wow! I figured it was probably too fragile for actual engine turning, but that's what it looked like. I have seen the effect once or twice before, but was puzzled as to how it was done. Thanks for being so forthcoming with information!
