What's the history on the plaque, the club, etc. Old Prince Georgians are curious.

Hi Clik, that is my plaque I got in 1962 when I became a "Laker", I was driving a '54 chevy and going to Bladensburg HS, class of '63. I lost track of the club in '64 when I started working on the night shift as a printer.
I see you have a Henry J, is it power by a 2x4 Cad motor? I can remember woking on a '49? Chevy coupe as a club project, with that motor but some told me they bilt a Henry J. If you want to talk give me a call.................Mike Krofchik 443 481-2855

I love the stylized Chassis Research TE-440 dragster. In '62 that, a Dragmaster or Lyndwood were the rails to have. Was the design used because someone in the club had a TE-440?

As far as I know no one in the club had a dragter, but that was 50 years ago, darn I must be getting old........and still playing with cars.....Mike

      Thanks Mike.

I'd love to find pics of that HJ. I've heard about it. It may have been that very HJ that gave me the bug when I was just a kid of twelve or less.

What's usually the best time to call?
