Used a trolly jack to stretch the spring so the spring spreader tool can be fitted with ease as the spring is stretched to nearly the correct lenght to clip onto spring points...this is a very strong spring and COULD be dangerous so just be very carefull when doing this...make sure the clamps are bolted together so the clamp cant slip out of the spring under tension....once the clamp ie; spreader is in place and the nuts are screwed down tight against the frames...you can realease the jack and the spring should nearly be at the right lenght to intall....if not just screw the nut outwoods untill the correct stretch is aquired
