Since the car has a rear steer Nova clip in it, the steering column passes through the firewall lower than the factory location. I flipped, cut and reshaped the factory access panels and firewall opening to fit the Flaming River column mount so I could relocate it in the firewall and still look "factory."

This "almost" vin number was stamped into the upper cowl and buried under bondo. Dunno if it is factory stamped or by someone later in the car's life.
