The previous owner made some stained glass tail light lenses with blue dots to replace the 54 Chevy Lee Lenses that were in it when they got stolen. I pulled the stained glass out and got new Lee lenses.

One of several primer jobs over the years. This one was 70 Chevy red laquer (to seal the primer below and keep it from rusting), unbuffed, with Krylon flames. Satin paint 20 years before it was cool! :)

After owning it for a couple of years, the repaint done at some point in it's past was pretty dead. So, I stripped it to bare metal to ready for body work and paint. Over 20 years since stripping it, maybe one day I will actually finish it. I was an optimistic 19 year old! ;)

The last primer job. After a wreck, the red satin paint job didn't get matched well, so I primed over it. This is still how it is painted, although worn thin.
