Back home in Austin at the Lone Star Round Up w/ the proper tow rig, my '57 Caddy. This was before she was polished.

Decided to polish her up........what a pain, but what a difference. Thanks Buffy, he's the magic metal man at Mercury Charlie's shop in Austin. He is a master w/ stainless and aluminum.

El Jefe
The Flying Cloud
This was the morning after I spent my first night in her in a rest stop in Lordsburg NM on the way home. It was frezzin in that tin can, fortunately Franco and Katie threw me a blanket on my way out of S. Calif. By the time I got to NM, I had all the running lights working and got to take off those awful magnetic lights I had on it when I left Calif.

The Flying Cloud
Removing all the unneccesaries....too much weight on the back. That was a huge generator hanging off the back on some home made rack that I could tell would not still be attached to the trailer after towing it 1600 miles back to Texas. It was ugly anyway. See ya!!
