My father raced Super Duty Pontiacs in the 1970's. He succesfully raced a 1963 Tempest equipped with the ultra rare aluminum frontend. The car was raced in the St. Louis area. Tracks attended included Pevely 1-55 Dragway, St. Genevieve Raceway and 1-57 Raceway in Benton, Illinois.

My father also raced two 1962 Catalina 421 Super Duty cars, both equipped with aluminum parts too.
